Facts about Lithuania

 
Hotel RINNO is situated between Vingriu and Pylimo streets. This is the historical place of Vilnius drinking water system developed back in 16th century – the once-famous Springs of Vingriai.
From here you might want to start your tour around Lithuania. Second largest town Kaunas is 100 km away. It is famous for many museums and a beautiful Old Town. Famous basketball club “Zalgiris” originates from Kaunas.
Then you might want to explore ancient Trakai castle famous for being former capital city of Lithuania, a ground of many ancient battles between Crusaders and Lithuanians and a place to try very unique Tartar cuisine and discover lots of facts about Lithuania. Trakai is only 25 km away and you should plan for a half-day trip.
